Workplace & Winter Safety

2007 has brought new contribution levels to your 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans. The maximum 2007 contribution is now $15,500.00 and if over age 50 this year an additional catch-up contribution of $5000.00 may be added. For 403(b) clients, if you have 15 years or more of service with the same employer, and have not maximized your contributions in the past, you may be entitled to contribute up to another $3,000.00 per year, not to exceed $15,000.00. For clients with Traditional or Roth IRA’s your annual contribution has also increased to $4,500.00 and if age 50 or older an additional $1,000.00 may be contributed. Remember the deadline for making the Traditional or Roth IRA Contribution for 2006 is April 15, 2007. January 1, 2006 also brought us the new Roth 403(b).
